Looks like Stardoll felt like updating some again, and for the better this time.

 

The camera function is now also avaliable in your suite, awesome!
This is something I actually asked Stardoll for, though I was probably not the only one.

We also got some new Superstar Hairstyles. Looks like there are two new ones for the guys even (girls probably look great in 'em too)! I haven't tried any of them yet, but I sure will!

At first I thought this might just be a good update... that is until I tried it, I hate, so much. Also it messed up my suite; all the items that were created in Stardesign have moved so you have to put all that back i place. Moving interior is okay, but putting clothes on your doll and changing the outfit is a pain in the butt! It took me a half an hour to get those freaking clothes to stick properly!

And that dress is hideous according to me ... and collectible? Are you freaking kidding me? Callie.Stardoll is seriously getting on my nervs... Anyways, what do you think of the updated suite & the dress?

The tools in the suite have been replaced with some new ones, not better though.
You can now also flip items, like you can in the Album, go check it out for yourself! :)

Do you think stardoll did right, adding these new tools or do you like the old ones better?

On the front page of Stardoll there was this preview of new hairstyles and lips for superstar, but I'm suspecting pretty soon more than just that will come, since we just recently got to do this survey about the beauty parlor. If that's the case I'm really looking forward to seeing some new noses, eyes and maybe even face shapes. Maybe they won't be available to everyone, which might be a little unfair, but to me that's not really a problem considering that I'm in the Stardoll Royalty club and I'm constantly superstar, but for those who aren't there could, thinking worst case scenario, be no new things at all.

Up until now we always had to ask for people's Stardoll names when at a party, but now you just click the "A" button to display everybodys names! Convenient. :)

The party feature on Stardoll has been updated! And by the looks of it it's probably much better than the old one, but before I decide whether I like it or not, I should take a closer look at all the features and figure out how you use it :)

The parties themselves haven't changed at all, you can still decorate them as before and the rooms are the same.

 

So honestly I thought more had changed when I saw the Party lobby, but no, not really. But I'm glad you can join random parties though! Great way of making new friends! Thumbs up! (:

Happy Halloween everyone; here's my costume: a crime against fashion.

As a fan of Amy Diamond I just had to in a quick post happily announce that the Amy Diamond club is the largest Celebrity club on Stardoll! In fact, it is THE largest club on stardoll over all.

Now all member of the club are probably not fans of Amy,
but hopefully at least ... a lot of them are!

At least it's nice advertising for her name...

I think one of the reasons the club is so popular is that
you recieve gifts when you join, lots of other clubs has earlier
given away gifts to new members, but since those were taken down, the Amy club remains.
Also the club is constantly active, which makes it an awesome place to hang out.

Looks like the ocean is currently ruling the catwalk.

Okay, so I think I complained about only 6 best friends and only three last visitors on 'My Page',
but that has been fixed now. On both the bestfriends panel and the last visitors panel you can now click "Show more" to view all best friends and more last visitors! Awesome!

And on the stardoll blog they've also reported the Covergirl will soon show on the front page again, as normal! :)

There's no real magazine anymore, only a front page.
The Cover girl doesn't show up on the front page anymore, which is weird.
If you win cover girl, you want to be on the front page and you want people to see you, right?

The My page looks okay, but there's no page for the Guest book anymore, it's embedded into the My page. Not as convenient as they intended it to be, I think. Only six of your best friends show on your page, not so awesome and only three of the last visitors are displayed ... sucks.
The suite is pretty much the same, and I like that. It's good that you can minimize the side bar, and it's better having it on the side than at the bottom. Also, the arrows you use to go from left to right are great! No more accidently moving when placing furniture.

The community page is a very good idea!
I mean I don't quite understand why they put the party function under design before.
It was more about socializing than designing.

The shop looks good, pretty much the same.
The dressups and games page ... also okay.

The ribbon-bar at the top is great! And the way they organized the chat is better, much, much better.
Brefore you couldn't visit the suite of your friends trough the chat, but now you can.
And it's just well organized with those two buttons, one for mail and one for other events.

The design itself is pretty neat, more clean and not as girly as the last one. But I'm gettin tired of pink though.
I think there should be themes in different colors avalible!
At first, things were hard to find, but as I got used to the new design, navigating was not a problem!
Actually easier than before.

There's a new Party function, it's in beta and fro roalty members only! And I'm roalty hehe (;

On stardoll there has been a lot about Amy Diamond lately, which I think is great.
It started with new clothes to her doll, some new songs i her promotion section and that you can buy a signed copy of her new cd "Swings and Roundabouts". And with her album you also get a unique code that gives you some of her clothes to your own medoll. And also stardoll started a fan club for her, and anyone who joins it gets a poster and som sort of chair. (she sitting in it in a picture)

There has also been a scenery competition, the winner got to meet Amy Diamond herself at the Stardoll office.
The contest was for people who lived in Sweden only.
At the same day there was also a live chat for all members. Anyone who wanted could chat with Amy. She answered a lot of questions, but sadly none of mine. And there were probably a lot of disappointed stardoll members.
But it must've been pretty hard for Amy, all questions flowing in.

Yeah, lucky Jonaska7, not just because she got a kitten, also because she asked the most interseting question!
Anyway, hope they'll do this chat-thing some other time, and with other celeb's as well, I don't remember the last time the did this!

How come stardoll decides to update every time i can't connect to the internet? Well i did go on stardoll on my cell today, i discovered about 3 new hair styles. I saw some of my friends wearing them in the pictures on the friends list. But since these's no software for flash websites on my phone i can't access my suite or medoll editor. But they looked pretty good, the images i saw wasn't very big, lol, So of course i don't know exactly what they look like...
